Fiber Friends Pocket Pet Review & GIVEAWAY!!

This is probably the most exciting product I've gotten the chance to review EVER!  Miranda over at Fiber Friends sent me my own "Little Gibson!"

IMG_5129

What is a Fiber Friend?  Well, it's a custom pint sized pet made from photos of your dog/cat/etc. out of natural wool.

IMG_5126

And it is super duper adorable!!

IMG_5125

Gahh!  Look at that butt!

I sent Miranda 4 or 5 photos of Gibson from different angles so that she could get all of his adorable little details.   A few weeks later, this arrived at my door:

DSC_8505
How cute is that sticker??

But how close to Gibson will his mini me look in person?

DSC_8514

Pretty dang close!  She got his skinny little blaze perfect!

DSC_8512

And his SWIRL on the back of his head!  LOVE his swirl! :)

DSC_8515

And don't forget about the little black nub on his behind!

DSC_8518

I am so happy with it and so is Gibson...

DSC_8519

He wanted to eat himself, sooooo badly ;)

DSC_8523
What is this??

Hadley wondered if it was for her..

DSC_8516

Perfectly sized for baby hands (but he is now safe and sound displayed on my desk ;) ).

So, are you drooooling for your own mini version of your pet??  Well, you are in luck!

GIVEAWAY!!!!
Fiber Friends is offering up a 99% off  coupon for your own custom pet
(so you will pay 1% of the cost plus shipping, which comes out to $6.70).  The original cost for one of these guys is $70! So the savings is huge!  And it doesn't have to be a corgi.. any type of dog or any other kind of animal will do!

How do you win?  I will hold a random drawing of all the entries I receive. There are a few different ways to enter.  They are:

1. Leave a comment on the post below with your name and a way to contact you as well as an idea for an animal that you'd like to see Miranda make out of felt.
2. Like Pocket Pause on Facebook and then come back here and tell me that you did. (https://www.facebook.com/PocketPause)
3. Tell your friends/followers about Fiber Friends on Etsy via Facebook, Twitter or a blog post. (and then come back here and tell me that you did (with a link if possible))

That is it!!   A winner will be randomly chosen on Friday, September 14th!  GOOOD LUCK!

I would LOVE one of these!!! Does Miranda make horses? If not, she should think about it...I know quite a few people that would definitely order one or two to look like their horses! I know I'd order a horse.

I would love to have a little Corgi to look like my little Gwen!! ;)

I liked Pocketpause on facebook - another website to devour!

It would be so awesome if I could win the prize! My (very newly) fiance is now working 3 hours away from me and our corgi Fergus. I know he misses Fergus terribly and asks me to kiss and wrastle him each time we talk. I owuld probably get him a little Fergus.

However, a little giraffe would be awesome - like in the comcast commercial with the russian guy and the mini giraffe. Yeah. Like that.

Love your blog, btw.

This is a great site, because I love all things Corgi. I lost my "Max" 8 weeks ago to cancer. He was a Red Headed Tri, Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I really miss him. He was a true companion. Having a Fiber Friend, would help to ease the pain of my loss, until I get another Corgi. So, my idea for a Fiber Friend would be a "Max."
