Happenings..

Sorry for the short hiatus.  Things have been a little crazy around here the past week or so!  Hadley has not been sleeping well, which equals a sleep deprived Kelly, which equals me being not so productive.  Today, she gets her DOC Band helmet, which I mentioned might be a possibility in her last few monthly updates.  We weren't going to get it if it was just a cosmetic thing, or if insurance did not cover it.  Surprisingly though, our insurance is covering 90% and determined that it was medically necessary for Hadley to get it!  So, last week we went in and took some crazy 3d photos to get the exact measurements needed for them to create her band and today we're going to go get her fitted and start the Hadley Helmet Adventure..  I am nervous, but excited at the same time.  I will go into more of why she needs the helmet in her 5 month post (just a few days from now, can you believe it?).

In Gibson happenings, we've been trying to train him to stop barking so much.  It has been somewhat successful.  We're on our second training device and it is slowly making a difference.  Hopefully, it will start to click with him soon :)  I'll, of course, write a more detailed post on this later.

OK, back to me being super nervous/excited about the events occurring later today...

Can't wait to see more photos of your sweet little one. So many babies have things that need "fixing;" try not to worry about it. Just wait until (if) Hadley needs braces on her teeth! Unfortunately insurance rarely covers that whole cost! (-:

Kelly, good luck today with your sweet Hadley. With children there always seems to be something, but just remember she is perfect in God's eyes and ours. Please keep us informed with the barking issue. Maxwell is 1 year old and is a barker.

Kelly, thanks for the link thru for the DOC band. It was very interesting reading and I learned a lot. I had always wondered when I saw babies with the helmet on what is was for, or I probably thought it was a cool bike helmet!
