Brother Love

This week, Ben went back to work so I have been alone w/my two kids for most of the day.  It was pretty tough at first.  I've had to change a lot of my normal routines.  I find myself rushing around trying to get things done (that used to seem simple) whenever Hadley decides to sleep for 5 minutes ;)   Things like showering, cooking dinner and (unfortunately for him) walking Gibson are now big accomplishments for me.

Luckily, I have a little helper...

I keep finding Gibson hovering around wherever Hadley is sleeping.  The cutest is when he looks over the couch into her pack-n-play to check on her..

He also randomly runs up the stairs into her room when she's sleeping in her crib.   Such a good big brother for being oh so terribly neglected by his mommy.

I guess he thinks this little face is worth it too ;)

Corgi brother love or maybe he's saying, "Hey! Kid! Can you handle a leash yet? Gotta go chica!!" LOL Such sweet pictures.

We have six grand kids - under - 7 years of age, and our Corgi loves them. He watches over them when they are babies and loves the older guys that run and throw toys for him outside. Personally, I think Corgi's are wonderful with kids! Enjoy!

Love the picture of Gibson peeking in on Hadley! She is so precious; he is so corgi! It will get better, Kelly, amazingly you'll get on a schedule, you'll get time to yourself, shower, get the house cleaned, walk the dog, play with the baby, etc. Its only been a few weeks; it'll come together! And I know Gibson knows he is loved!

Our two corgis were the same awesome babysitters as Gibson is. I would put his bassinet on the sofa and they would hop up one on either side of it and not move until he was out of it. They insisted on one little kiss to his face every morning just to make sure he was ok. If he ever got too rough or handsy they would just walk away. Our next pair of corgis, currently one and four, treat my housekeeper's baby the same way. corgis love babies!

what an amazing little factoid that even the boys are gr8 parents. How wonderful that the herding instinct is so strong in him. You better watch when Hadley starts her steps as our Corgies took herding to a new level and we had to correct them that the kids were not woolies, and they were part of our pack. Not a lecture just friendly advice. Love his care tho that is great and he is a gr8 boyo! Beautiful, by the way Hadley is STUNNING!
