My Barksgiving

Hiz guys, it's Gibson!  My mom is too tired to think of somethings to blog so she left it ups to me. Daddy thinks its stupid for me to posts since Is a dog but I wants to help mommys so I will.

First, I gots worried cause everyone was putting things in bags and that means a big scary car ride.  I hates car rides, but they are better now that I can just curl up in my crate and pout.  I still made mommy chase me down and carry me to the car though.  I dunnoz, I just hates it.

I napped some and then we were at my grandmas and grandpas! I loves it there!  I gets to run around and do whatevas I wants.  Oh and my Auntie Coal always leaves me food in her bowl to eats and my grandma leaves bread for me in the yard. I loves that!

Soon, lots of people were there and it was very exciting so I barked at everyone.  Then, there was food everywheres!  My mom let me eat some of everything and it was yummy! All I had to do is sit by her feets and look cute and she gave me something to eats!

Oh then people started staring at the tv and jumping around and dancing and I got mad and barked at them. I hates the tv it steals attention away from me!  I barked and barked but they wouldn't stop.  Then, daddy tried to get me to stop and I bits him and he got mads at me :(   Then I was put in time out :(   I was just so tired and stressed out, but I did not want to miss anythings.  I barely slept at alls but then I mades up for it the next day..

Yep, I sleeped for the whole next day.  I did not even care that we had to go for anothers car ride.

Oh and then we were at my other grandma and grandmas and my favorite cousin Orson showed ups!  I knew he was going to be there cause I could smell him and then he was there!  We played and played and played it was lots of fun.  Mommy and Daddy and grandma and auntie left us and then came back with  lot of bags and mommy let me out to pottys.  Orson came too but he was not ons a leash like me and then he ran off!  He ran across the street and a big car  was there and had to stops so it didn't runs over him!  Mommy yelled and yelled but he didn't listen so we ran across the street after hims.  Then we saved him and mommy got upset and crieds.  I dunnos why!  Thens I was tired and got cranky.  Don't tells Orson, but Is was happys when he went homes so I could sleeps some more.

Thens mommy and daddy were putting things in bags again and I was stressed that the car was coming again.  But then they took me outs of the car and daddy drove off withouts us and we sat outside!  It was weird and I was scareds... Then daddy came back with keys and mommy went inside and gots her bags with the moneys!  Hahas she locked it inside the house and granma and granpa already left to take great grandma home! Haha sillly mommy!

I then was put back in the cars and slept agains.. then we were home!  I was happy until later when football came on! I hates football and barked the entire night til we went to bed.

The End.

Kong Tugger Knots

The other day  I was sent a new toy from Kong to review called "Kong  Tugger Knots".  Gibson and I were very excited!! :)

The concept of the Tugger Knots is a pretty cool one.. basically a plush squeaky toy (with 'minimal stuffing') and tug toy in one!  What's not to like?

The ropes are tied in knots together inside the plush animal and are supposed to be very strong.  There is a video here that shows a grown man hanging from the rope, so it can hold a lot of weight!

I knew Gibson would love this toy, but maybe he loved it a little too much.  The next morning, the poor little moosey looked like this:

Yeah, there are supposed to be antlers on his head...

And feet...

The rope was even starting to shred...

Oh and this?  This is the hole from where Gibson pulled out the squeaker...

But he wuvssssssss it!

So much so that he won't let go.

Here is Gibson and the Kong Tugger Knot in action:

My thoughts?  It's obviously not made for a  chewer.   Actually, it says on the package that it is not a chew toy and it should be taken away if not supervised.   Hmph, then why is it soft and squishy and have a 'realistic feel'?  What's the point?

Anyways, the rope IS quite strong (just not sure how long it will last).  Gibson can hang onto it for dear life while we whip him around the room.   And he loves to chew on it.  Most of his other animal toys can still hear and walk if they want to, but for some reason he went straight for this guys feet and ears right away!

I also should say that it is kind of uncomfortable to hold on to the rope.  I can only fit 3 fingers in the loop comfortably, so I end up just holding it by the moose while Gibson tugs..  This may be because I was sent the 'small' version of the toy (there is a large version as well).

Gibson's thoughts?  He loves it.  Thinks it's amazing and a half.  Most funz evaz!

Can I recommend this?  I don't know :-\   If it can last and is just be a little torn apart, that I think it will be a good toy, but if it is completely unusable in a week than absolutely not!  Hmm.. maybe I should keep you updated on this one....  Stay tuned! (here is the update)

The many faces of Gibson

Gibson's face is the thing that made me fell in love with him.  It is so expressive!  Plus his head is tiny and he has a tiny snout and buggy eyes.  It's quite unique ;)  Anyways, he has a lot of different "looks", which I'd like to show you...

1.  This is serious guys!
This is the look he gives when he is barking at something outside and I don't care what it is.  He looks at me like, "Mommmmm!  This is a very serious matter!"

2. Do what now?
Oh yes, the head tilt.  Pretty much whenever I ask Gibson a question he does this :)

3.  I'm so sleepy and I love you
Sweet, nice, sleepy Gibson.

4.  I'm so sleepy and I hate you
Evil, grouchy Gibson.

5.  Mommy, you're silly!
This is his little smile he gives me when I'm making weird noises to get his attention to take his photo.. it's basically to humor his crazy mom :)

6. Slightly concerned
He heard a strange noise, but knows I'll get mad if he moves from his spot...

7.  I'm f'in crazy!
He's tired, he's stressed out, and he's hyper!!

8.  I wants that
Death stare, check!  Drool, check!

9.  You're torturing me!
aka, "I'm Scared", "I don't feel good" or "I'm Sorry"
Allergy Face
Yes, Gibson gives me this face a lot.  In extreme cases, his eyes bug out even more and his ears are no longer visible, like this:

It pretty much means the world is ending and it's my fault.  I can be washing dishes or cooking dinner, turn around and he's sitting there with that look on his face.  lol

10. I am super adorable!
Molly Mutt Dog Duvet
His fake smile smile for when he wants what I am holding and he's trying not to be rude..

11. You suck
My cute guy.
This is what I get when I hop on my computer instead of playing with him.  Head on the ground sad face...
It's pitiful and I always give in.

12. Laser Eyes!
Gibson wakes up as soon as the sun rises and immediately gives me laser eyes so that I will wake up.  If he sees me start to move, he comes closer and turns up the strength of the laser until I wake up.

13. Hunter Gibson
This is his look right before he is about to pounce on something.  The nub speeds up the closer he is to when he is about to pounce :)

14. Genuinely Happy
He is having a really good time and loves everyone and everything..

15.  Bliss
Cute Chewing
If there is a treat involved, he is even more genuinely happy to the point of pure bliss ;)

The look he gives right before he runs around and fraps his head off.  It's like he's trying to trick us into thinking he's being serious and then BAM he takes off running in circles :)

And just for fun, these are some of the things we think Gibson looks like when he is super tired (when his head shrinks and his ears and eyes grow 3 sizes)...

Frank from Donnie Darko:

A Fennec Fox:

AND a Hairless Cat...

We love our buggy eyed, tiny headed expressive little  guy :)

Gibson's Blooper Reel 2

It was a lazy weekend for Gibson and I. It is getting cold out, so we stayed inside and hibernated. We were playing on the floor and I ripped the little tail off of one of his toys (it was hanging by a thread) and Gibson wanted it sooo bad. I thought I'd get a video of him doing his tricks normally, but it turned into another blooper reel. So, here you go for your entertainment... Gibson being silly :)

P.S. Names have been drawn in the Secret Santa Exchange!  Log in at to see who you got!! :)
