Stir Crazy Homemade Toys

When it's freezing cold outside and you can't go out,  you can come up with numerous new ways to entertain yourself inside. Gibson and I found out a new way the other day while I was wrapping presents.  What'cha think?  Is it the hot new look this winter?

Naw, it's just a few cardboard tubes from wrapping paper all coiled up!

But they are loads of fun!  You can dress up your dog to humiliate him!

You can even play ring toss on the corgi ;)

He doesn't seem to mind them...

Disregard the horrific look on his face..

He really does enjoy them...

Because once I'm done laughing at him, he can then destroy them!!

Die evil necklaces!!

The end :)

Homemade toys are the best. We like to chase Gus around the house with the empty tubes. He loves it :)

Amy says: "OOOOO! CARDBOARD!!!" She loves cardboard tubes like WOAH. I finished a roll of wrapping paper last weekend and just handed her the whole tube. She patiently ripped it in to even-sized sections and made a pile, then picked which piece she wanted to further shred. The rest of the pieces have wound up in her toy bin. :)

Hahaha although I think this was more for your entertainment, I love it. Sadie gets that same look on her face when I put something on her and laugh haha. That little evil side glance, like "MOM! SERIOUSLY!!!!" Too cute.

Shame on you! Abusing a corgi with cardboard tubes! Why it is just awuful (insane laughter flys through the air) and you should are just naughty (massive giggle attack leaves writer on floor crying). We would NEVER do such a thing - we use boxes to make hats and bribe doggies to wear them long enough for pictures! LOL!

New reader here...your corgi is the sweetest cutest thing. Next to my corgi, of course :) Mine loves cardboard too.

Whatever it takes to make them happy and occupied for a few minutes so you can get something done. Too cute!

I love the style! It looks like a lot of fun for Peanut. I should do that but he would tear it up in no longer than a minute.
